Mayor Mario King is the youngest serving Mayor in the state of Mississippi during the years 2017 -2021 and the youngest in Moss Point's history. Some call his approach radical others say he is simply rejuvenating the city. he is a creative and innovative thinker, born in Chicago, IL, raised in Moss Point, MS. Among his role as Mayor, he also claims the title of doctoral student, husband, and most importantly father. In his first political position, Mayor King has brought a fresh energy, daring but positive leadership, and necessary change platform. Join him as he talks with policy makers, scholars, community organizers, activist, and the clergy about how they have led their communities to rejuvenation and how these ideas can help you and others improve lives and wellbeing of the citizens across the country.
